On a snowy night in February of 1994, Jeff Buckley played a legendary set at Uncommon Ground. This performance was lauded “Best Concert of the Year” by Greg Kot of the Chicago Tribune, and was later recalled by Mr. Kot as one of the best concerts he’s ever attended. This year marks the 22nd anniversary of that legendary performance.
Now Uncommon Ground celebrates Buckley’s legacy each year by inviting artists from all over the world to pay tribute to the legendary artist. The 19th Annual Jeff Buckley Tribute is scheduled to take place on November 16th and 17th. To celebrate we will be doing a Facebook livestream of the second day on what would have been Jeff Buckley’s 50th birthday.
