The night began with an opening made by a spokesperson of The Howlin Wolf, who then introduced Mary Guibert. Mary thanked everyone for coming out and shared a piece of information that was unique to New Orleans in the making of the DVD, “Grace Around The World”. It was revealed that Jeff Buckley had performed at The Howlin Wolf in 1994, yet there was one song that was critical from this performance in the making of the DVD.
It was “Dream Brother”, for the video footage in New Orleans was the only time the song had been captured in its entirety. When this song was screened, everyone started applauding as they saw “The Howlin Wolf, New Orleans”, flash on the screen. At the end of every song, the audience would applaud as if they were actually seeing Jeff Buckley live in concert.

To celebrate the release of Jeff Buckley’s ‘Grace Around The World’ CD/DVD in Ireland, a screening event was held in Andrews Lane Theatre in Dublin on Wednesday, June 24th 2009. The event was supported by Jeff Buckley Music, Sony, and the Official Jeff Buckley Tribute Night Ireland. Jeff’s mother, Mary Guibert, attended this exciting event, and answered questions for fans of Jeff and his music.

The event celebrated the release of Jeff Buckley’s new Live DVD, “Grace Around The World.” Taking place at the famed Largo Coronet Theater. Family and Friends of Jeff Buckley Music prepared an exciting evening showcasing never-before-seen original artwork by Jeff, a forum with Mary Guibert and documentary film makers, performances by celebrated guests, and a special screening of the DVD, “Grace Around The World.”

Once again, the Rivoli was the venue for the annual Toronto celebration of the life and music of the late Jeff Buckley. This year’s event included a special DVD/CD release party, including special guest, Mary Guibert, to commemorate the release of “Grace Around the World” (SONY/Legacy) on June 2, 2009. In fact, this party was the world premier of the screening/listening party for the new release.
Producer and coordinator, Catherine Harrison, PurpleVoodooProductions, was thrilled with this year’s turnout.“We continue to be amazed and inspired by the people who participate in our celebrations. The ambiance in the room is always so positive and collaborative.
