November 17th marks the anniversary of Jeff Buckley’s 43rd birthday. We’d like to ask you to share with us the unique ways in which you celebrate Jeff and how you share the Golden Promise in your life, be it through poetry, music, art, attending tribute events, listening to your favorite Jeff CDs or anything in between. We’d like to encourage you to view the Golden Promise here and share your comments with us about how *you* celebrate Jeff at his very special time of year. The First-Annual Los Angeles Tribute Event

Attention Jeff Buckley Fans! We are pleased to announce the first-annual Los Angeles tribute sponsored by the Jeff Buckley Music family. Taking place November 17th at the Little Room at Largo. This small, intimate evening will include tribute performances by Emily Wells and other very special guests.
The proceeds from the evening, as well as limited pre-release Grace Around The World merchandise on auction at eBay, will benefit our friends at the Silverlake Conservatory of Music
Tickets for this event are very limited and can be purchased here. Tickets are on sale now! This event is 21+ and your ticket purchase includes two drink tickets.

As we know, music education enriches the life of the student as well as our community and society.

Jeff Buckley “Grace Around the World DVD” Release Party and
“For the Love of Buckley” Tribute Show Recap: Bravo! News Video
Once again, the Rivoli was the venue for the annual Toronto celebration
of the life and music of the late Jeff Buckley. This year’s event
included a special DVD/CD release party, including special guest, Mary
Guibert, to commemorate the release of “Grace Around the World”
(SONY/Legacy) on June 2, 2009. In fact, this party was the world
premier of the screening/listening party for the new release.
Producer and coordinator, Catherine Harrison, PurpleVoodooProductions,
was thrilled with this year’s turnout.“We continue to be amazed and
inspired by the people who participate in our celebrations. The
ambiance in the room is always so positive and collaborative. Once
again, we had local and international artists share their stories
and interpretations of Jeff’s music…it was a beautiful evening!”
Special thanks to Sony Canada for supplying copies of the new release
that were raffled off to lucky attendees throughout the night, and
to BRAVO!News for covering the event.
Like previous events, all ticket proceeds will be donated to our
charities of choice: locally, the Regent Park School of Music, a
non-profit organization that provides music instruction and access
to instruments to underprivileged kids in the area, and Road Recovery.
Performers included Catherine Harrison (with special guests Richard
Scarsbrook and Nicole Sigouin), David Ward, Mike Borgia, Craig Browne,
Rosita Stone, Sonny Boy Mick, Jay Merc, Ray Montford and Brillian Fish,
Brad Gradner, Josh Gontier, and Robert Haley.
